Tiny Tim’s water level hasn’t change and is still 6.5 centimeters. He still doesn’t have any algae but he has plant growth. The grass has grown more then the bottle will allow height wise. There is condensation on the top and bottom of the bottle biome which indicates cooling temperatures. His grass is still growing and bending side ways still. His water is changing to a more ivory color and also there will not be enough room for any further plant growth due to how small the bottle is in general.

The grass has started to bend side ways and has hit the top of the bottle. His water is getting foggier then last weeks. There is also still some dirt and gravel floating at the bottom section of the bottle. The top section of the bottle still has condensation but there will not be enough room for any further plant growth.

Bottle Biome Setup

Today we set up our bottle biome two liter bottles. We used duct tape to connect the three pieces of the bottles. There is a hole in the cap of the bottle which is where the cotton string went through it. We filled the bottom portion with water until it touched the cap of the bottle. We filled the top portion with 8-10 cm of potting soil then proceeded to add seeds with soil on top. Also, we added a top to cover the entire bottle. What i expect to happen is for the plant to grow on the top portion of the bottom and for us to be able to see the roots on the bottom portion.
